Our Members
Herbal Medicine is a vocation or calling that often comes late in working life. For others it is an early life choice and a viable one nowadays as herbal medicine is available at university degree level, with possibilities for postgraduate studies. It is not surprising then that our members are an eclectic grouping of individuals but united within a singular objective: to protect and promote the provision and practise of herbal medicine in the UK.
To this end our members work endlessly giving their time and expertise for free; devoted to their vocation and their art. Contact and support for our members is fostered through participation in our Membership Awareness Group and in our Regional Groups and in our online discussion forum. All of these activities are facilitated by our Membership Liaison Officer who acts as a liaison among members and council and its committees.
