Ongoing stress is probably one of the most common causes of physical and mental illness. Life now-a-days tends to be so fast paced, many of us are under so much pressure, that sometimes somethings just got to give, and it is often our health that suffers because of it. As some of our regular attendees will know, we have two students on the SLNH team, which makes this time of year particularly stressful with many assignment deadlines looming and exams being just around the corner. So, with this in mind, we thought that it would be good to look at this topic again.
We will be looking at what you can do for yourself to help calm and relax your mind and body, plus we'll be talking about the many herbs that can help us through these difficult times.
Our herb of the month is Siberian ginseng, a fantastic adaptogenic herb that helps to increase mental stamina and supports optimum adrenal function, which in turn helps us to combat stress!
