Wild Medicine Walk

Hosted by Fenland Natural Health and Emma Barker

Spalding Lifestyle & Gardening Centre

210 Spalding Road, Spalding, Lincolnshire PE11 3PB

As part of Heritage Lincolnshire's South Lincolnshire Walking festival, Fenland Natural Health are hosting this guided medicinal plant walk.

We begin this walk in the carpark of Spalding Lifestyle and Garden Centre, adjacent to Johnson Community Hospital. Throughout the walk we will identify many wild plants that have medicinal properties, and share with you the traditional and modern day uses of these plants. Our walk will take us along public footpaths, alongside waterways and through a wild flower meadow. It is approximately 2 miles long. The terrain is varied, so please wear suitable footwear and please dress appropriately in response to weather conditions on the day.

There is no set fee for this walk being part of the walking festival, but we will accept any donations offered to help us continue our work spreading the word on natural health and well-being.
